Default Call Me Traitor

Well, it's time for the G6 to go. It was a good car at the start, but I can't stand it any more. The pedals are too sensitive, too much body roll etc.

Some of you may have known that the brand new BMW 135i has had my attention since before it even came out. I originally had a deposit down on the car in January of this year. After deciding that I wasn't going to get the car, I had moved on. It was too much money when Lauren and I were looking at getting our own place.

Now that Lauren and I have our living situation figured out, I'm back wanting the 135i.

So today I went down to the BMW dealership and test drove the brand new 135i. I must say, I'm in LOVE! This car has more power than I could have ever hoped for. The handling, acceleration, feel, etc. were all just superb.

So either tomorrow, or some time next week, I'll be ordering one. Not JUST ordering it, but picking it up in Europe and driving it around their for a few days (it's actually CHEAPER to pick up the car in Germany). After we're done over there, BMW ships the car back as if it were a brand new car. So I'll have about 4-6 weeks of waiting time after I get back state-side.

The most important bit though...The Grand Am isn't going ANYWHERE. It's still my #1 car and that's not going to change. Just so everyone knows, me owning a BMW won't have any affect on the club at all. FLGM isn't coming to an end or anything like that.
