Default LT1-eating V6?

If that's not enough, then a 3.1/3400 twin turbo hybrid is going in it's place. already have the Areomotive A1000 fuel pump, one to4e turbo, and Tial wastegate. Just missed a set of 140# injectors for $220 .

The idea is to make a record for a 60*v6 F-body

Anybody here in FL, who is serious about a 300hp N/A 60*, I'll hook you up

500hp will cost you some coin, but is not out of reach.

I got a good deal on a '85 T/A, am thinking of an all-out 14.5:1 SCR twin turbo 60* running on C-16 --- who's in?

Enlarge the holes a little on the P/S bracket...

A/C bracket needs one new hole...

The neighbor at the shop re-builds alts and starters, and I asked him today if he has any GM alts layning around. He said yes, but if yours works, I'll rebuild it for free, and it will look "pretty". Let's see what kind of job he does, neighboly love for ya, lol.

Do a little at a time, like the rest of us .

With 4 kids, the only way my projects get done is by modding others' cars. I'm married, therefore I have no rights, lmao.

Checkin' out your cam specs... lift looks pretty good for a streetable cam, but not crazy enough to get you 300hp NA. Why only the 1.5 rockers too? Which heads are those too? They look like 3400 or 3500 heads and the rockers that come with those should be 1.6:1, not 1.5:1. I'm just curious as to exactly what combination of parts you went with and how you ended up on that target HP. It looks pretty darn nice though!

It's a Gen1 cam, that's why it was tested with a 1.5 ratio

Since when is a 300* cam a street cam? Most people stop at a 262 or 272 grind (~212* at .050" and ~.440 @ .050). I could have used a little more lift, I measured the springs in my machine shop and came up with a .525" max. I wanted to utilize it, but I wasnt going to wait for another custom grind. The software only showed a 3hp gain with .520/.510 vs the .485/.496 I actually got.

11.5:1 compression, de-shrouded valves, short side ported, full-length polished runners, ported plenum to match, undecided on the 65mm or larger TB. The exhaust side was opened up 1/8", long headers and some good tuning should do the trick. In a RWD car, I'm going to lose about 30% of that. Ben used his dynomation and came up with 280ish. at 6800.

I'm going to be building the 3.1 that came in the car into a 3.1/3400 hybrid, roller cam conversion, and a pair of to4e's being fuel'd with an Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump, Tial 38mm gates and Megasquirt with a 4bar MAP. I have all the parts for it except one turbo, WG and I/C. Just missed a set of 140# injectors for $320 (set of 8) on one of the racing forums Have to wait for the next set.
