=Section 1 - Main=
1.a - No Flaming: This includes excessive verbal attacks on people. This will not be tolerated and can result in a ban. 1.b - No Spamming: Do not try to get members to sign up for things using your affiliate ID. Also, do not try to advertise any sort of pyramid scheme. Also, users who sign up and their first post is made about a company or product WILL have their thread removed. Please check with an administrator if you think your post may be considered spam. 1.c - No Cross Threading: Cross threading is posting the same post in multiple forums. One forum is enough for your topic. 1.d - Work Safe Images Only: Do not post pictures or links to pages that could get people at work in trouble. This means no nudity, nothing excessively offensive, etc. 1.e- Illegal Racing: Florida GM Club in NO WAY condones illegal street racing. Street racing is illegal, if you make a post bragging about a race you won or similar, it will be deleted. ==Section 2 - Language== 2.a --Cursing: We're not too strict about language, just try to keep it acceptable. Anything excessive could get you in trouble. 2.b --NO Racial Slurs: We will not tolerate racial slurs on this site. Anything considered to be a racial slur is grounds for banning. ===Section 3 - Classifieds Section=== Florida GM Club and its staff will not be held responsible for any deals made on this forum. The staff will keep the forum moderated inside the rules, however we have no control over users selling things. If for some reason you detect a fraudulent thread or post, please report it to an administrator right away. 3.a ---Selling: DO NOT try to scam or steal money from our members. We keep regular backups containing all threads and posts which can be used as evidence in a case against a fraudulent deal. So yes, we're serious. After your item has sold, please contact a moderator so they can close the thread. We highly suggest taking a picture of the item(s) you are selling as most potential buyers will want to see one. 3.a ---Buying: Do not say you're going to buy something to later back out of the deal. If you're not sure if you will be purchasing the item, please indicate that to the seller so they can keep their thread up for others to see. ====Section 4 - How-To's==== Florida GM Club, and the original poster of How To articles WILL NOT be held responsible for any injuries, or the accuracy of these articles. You accept all risks when following these articles. 4.a ----Posting a How-To:
=====Section 5 - Ride of the Month===== Each month will have a "theme" for picture submissions. One month may be a shot with a water background, the next may be a parking garage contest. 5.a -----Entering Contest: To enter the contest go to the "ROTM" thread and look for the current contest. Once you know what type of picture it is, go out and take pictures of your CLEAN car. If your car isn't washed please do not submit the picture. If you wish to update your submission please notify either Jeremy or I. 5.b ------Voting: Users will be allowed one vote per contest. Voting will be held in the form of a poll in the contest thread. The thread will be updated after the deadline for submitting pictures. 5.c -----Picture Quality: While this isn't a huge factor, it certainly helps. The better the image quality, the more likely people will vote for it. This is not to say that cell phone pictures are not allowed, because they are. The most important thing we're looking for is a nicely composed shot. Please know we may be making updates to this thread in the near future so please check back later -FLGM Staff Last edited by InsaneSkippy; 02-05-2008 at 12:38 PM. |
