So, here's a thought for all you budding photographers. What photograph have you seen that inspired you? What about it inspired you?

Post it here and give a little explanation. Try to keep the photos on the clean side. And try to keep them down in resolution so this doesn't become cumbersome to view.

I'll share one that for me has always been something a little different. Around 1978 a photographer by the name of Steve Steigman did a photo shoot for Hitachi Maxell. The photo that came from that session was dubbed "Blown Away" or "The Blown Away Guy". Through the 1980's this ad's popularity soared etching in the anals of photography history. Hitachi Maxell revived the ad campaign in late 2005 with a twist for a new generation. The concept and execution of this photograph are what get me. The photo doesn't speak directly to the product, however, once you know the product the photo makes sense.
