Well as most know I got laid off...and still no job. And an old friend called me Friday night asking if I wanted a job....well DUH!!!

Anyway he travels around the east side of the US selling car cleaning products and he asked me to tag along. For sure, anyway he goes to Military bases and sells there, he said the worst week he had he only made $500, and the best he made $1100 in one week.....pretty decent.

So I'm leaving Monday and I won't be back until Oct 4th and the 5th is my b-day and the 7th is court and I will probably head back out the 10th or 11th.

He usually stays out for 2 months and comes home for 2 weeks. I might get in good with the boss man and see if I can just sell in FL so I won't have to travel.

Anyway I'm headed to DC first in my car with him for a week then were either going to SC or GA for the remainder of my time and he's staying for another month, he has his own truck but it's still in DC.

Wish me luck and it's going to be a long trip in them Recaro's!!!!!

Yea it was 100% waste of gas....nothing was organized and I would have to sleep in my car for 2 nights.....I was pissed, so I got my shit and went home....

We left around 6pm Monday and I woke up around 12am that day, drove up there.....got there around 9am and found out no room, so we bs'd pretty much until 4 until his boss got the room and it was a one bed and 4 guys were in the room!!!! So I was like fuck it I'm going back home, so I leave around 5pm Tuesday start driving and I'm already tired as hell because I've been up for a long time now, around 1am and somewhere in S. Carolina I start getting hella sleepy and what do you know, I fall asleep at the wheel run off the road and get stuck in some grass that's taller than my car, I can't move cause the grass is literally holding my car up, so I call Road Side and they pull me on the truck take me to the closest rest stop and he said the car looks good minus dirt all over. So I sit there for about an hour getting myself together and continue on my way, I finally get home around 10pm Wednesday!!!!

Needless to say I'm very pissed, used $250 to get up there, N. and S. Carolina both suck with gas, DC sucks because the roads and people can't drive worth shit, and Virgina....HAHA speed limit says 55 they go 55!!!!!

Well I'm back and trying to recoup all of my money now!!!!

Sorry to hear that the opportunity didn't work out for you. It has been my experience that sales aren't very successful except for a few individuals that excel at it. Hopefully another avenue will present itself for you in the near future.
