I just noticed the headlights below the covers. Do they work well?

Even with the projector style beam? does it do well with the black covers off? I liked the look of those, but if they suck I will stick with other styles.

There not covers, its smoked!! It came like that from Ebay, the driverside one doesnt have a good ground for sum reason so you cant even see the high beem and the pass side melted the lense after only being on for like 10min!!
