Forum suggestion
I think we need a forum for "Racing" I myself would like to post my videos and times in a general location for all to find and see. Maybe we can do this?

In the past we've tried to stray away from the topic as we don't want a bunch of "kill stories" on the site. However, I think we could probably add a forum for track racing (1/4 Mile, Auto X, etc.) I'll add it when I upgrade the forum software.

Thats what I was thinking. Add to the rules of it so that theres no posting of street racing, kill stories, etc. Warn that if its posted itll be deleted and whatever other consequence you may want to do

Kyle I understand that you wanna stay away from "War Stories" but if you put a disclaimer on the forum description you will not be held for anything, plus if it's pics or videos it's going to be hosted from YouTube, PhotoBucket, or some other private image/video hosting server. But that's just my suggestion and 2cents...

I could care for the section too. I think it's a good idea to at least have a track section so those of us who try and go to the tracks a lot can post our stories and times and stuff.

Ok so I've been trying to decide how to go about a racing forum. I've come to the conclusion that I do NOT want kill stories on this site. I understand some people here may be in to street racing, speeding off from lights, etc. Under some circumstances it's not that big of a deal, however 95% of the time forums like that create chaos.I've seen it many times before on other automotive forums.
So instead, as a compromise I will create a section for LEGAL racing. I just don't want to see videos of people doing 90 MPH down a city road. As mentioned before any thread containing either a "kill story" or videos of illegal racing/driving will be deleted. I understand some of you guys may be upset with this, however this is the way it's going to be. I will create the forum now though, so if you have anything you'd like to add feel free -Skippy
