This is just a break off of the Orlando meets, October 18th Orlando Get-Together which we still need to decide a date and time.

I have a few suggestions that are right off I-4 and very easy to find. I could call around and see if we could get a go ahead from a manager to use the parking lot.

Best Buy - From Orlando going west on I-4 turn right on 98 North about 2 miles on right.

Lowe's - Turn left on 98 from I-4 from Orlando, 3 miles south.

These are just a few suggestions around the I-4 Lakeland 98 area.

Thank you so much Ryan If you could get a manager's approval that would be excellent. That way we don't need to worry about being kicked out. Be sure to let them know we're just gonna be parking/taking pictures of the cars. When some people hear "car club" they think racing/reckless driving.

So now we need to find a date. What days work best for everyone? As for the time of the event. I say we schedule for 9. This won't be too late I don't think. This way everyone should be off work as well.

Again, thank you for these suggestions, this is going to be an awesome event.

I will call around and see what I can find, maybe we can get a written ok to show the cops if they come, and 9pm sounds good and I was thinking Friday nights and as for the exact week possibly last Friday of every month, and have the Orlando meets the first and third Thursdays of every month.

Bump for some more input from more members, I talked with Lowe's and they realy don't want to do this because they are worried about racing and litter so I guess Lowe's is out of the question. But I still have to talk with BestBuy, I will post what I find out here.

I'm still down for this, while Ryan is finding a location we can figure out a date that works for everyone. I need you guys to post up which days work for you. Otherwise we're picking a day and hoping it works for everyone.

Personally, Thursdays and Fridays work best for me.

Friday nights would probably work best. Considering how late the Orlando meet went until lol

I can't wait to start planning this event. We should really shoot for a date soon if no one else is going to tell us what days work. We should plan this for some time in November this will give us enough time to spread the word about it and hopefully get a good turn out. I'm hoping some of the people who made it to the Orlando meet will come out to Lakeland.

Now, what time are we thinking? Get there maybe 8-8:30?

8-8:30 sounds good to me, and I'm thinking the first Friday of every month for the Lakeland meets, and the Orlando meets third Friday of every month. I talked with BestBuy and the manager said he wants to talk with the regional manager and he will get back to me.
