Default Maintenance Intervals

For those of us that do our best to make sure our vehicles are in top shape, maintenance is always at the forefront of our minds. Though ocassionaly it will slip to second or third or maybe even fall off the list. Bearing that in mind, I decided to post a tentative schedule to help you remember when to look at things and what things to look at. I hope you find it useful. Let me know what you think via "Rate the Thread", "Reputation", or "PM".

In an effort to promote better maintenance habits, I've added a few of these to the FLGM Calendar. From there you can request a reminder for each event. I hope that this helps to keep everyone a little more in tune with their vehicles.

A few thoughts before the guide:
  • This is a general guide and these procedures can be performed more often than what is shown.
  • If you feel uncertain about a given procedure, take your vehicle to a trained professional.
  • This guide assumes that the driver is driving under average conditions for the most part.
  • This guide is not meant to be all inclusive, it must be tailored to your vehicle, its performance, and your driving habits.
